Besiktas to release Mario Austin

According to turkish media Besiktas is close to releasing Mario Austin(2.05-PF) that will follow the loss of Jovo Stanojevic and his unsuccessful replacements. Mario Austin is said to have missed the last week of practice sessions.

It is hard to say why this is happening and if anyone were to guess it would be financial problems that seem to be plaguing teams all over Europe.

Mario Austin is a natural scorer and he has played for Angelico Biela, Hapoel Jerusam and Benetton in the past. Last season he aveaged 13.6 points 7.6 rebounds and 1.5 steals in 34 games for the LegaA1. Austin averaged 15.3 points 8.8 rebounds and 1.8 steals in 4 games in Turkey for Besiktas.
