Baskonia announced David Logan

As announced this morning by Josean Querejeta, president of Baskonia - Caja Laboral, David Logan(1.85-PG/SG) will be the first transfer of Baskonia for the next season.


The American combo-guard acquired a Polish passport in February of 2009 and hhe is committed to Saski Baskonia SAD for the next three seasons.

Logan was born in Chicago (Illinois) on December 26, 1982, and studied at the University of Indianapolis. His career in Europe began in the Pallacanestro Pavia of the Italian Lega Due. Later he went to the Israeli league, and played for Electra Ramat Hasharon.

After a stint in Europe returned to the U.S. and the Forth Worth Flyers of the NBA Development League. He finished that season, 2006-2007, at SKS Starogard playing in the Polish League. In the 2007-2008 Logan signed with Turow Zgorzelec, where he participated in the Eurocup. The following year he transferred to Asseco Prokom, the best team in the Polish league. With this team he participated in the Euroleague two years running, the first played 15 games averaging 16.9 points. Last season he played 20 games averaging 36.2 minutes 15.3 points 2.6 rebounds 3.4 assists and a 13.1 rating.
